|
As you are probably aware, you can only promote the business opportunities that are supported by the Downline Partners system by using Company Codes. This training article will explain everything there is to know about the company codes and teach you some advanced linking techniques so that you can take full advantage of this great feature.
Basics:
Using company codes is very easy, all you have to do is select the company you want in the company code drop down menu of the post form and the right code will be added to your message. That code will display the URL of the business opportunity you selected with the right sponsor id for everyone.
IMPORTANT: When entering company codes, always leave a blank space before and after it otherwise you will end up with links like this:
When creating advanced links by customizing the $$dp$$ code or creating forum links, leave the space after your link is completed, like this:
NOTE: the * character will be used in the code examples below so that you can see the actual code instead of the result. Don't use the * when you build your links.
Naming your links:
To name your link, click on the URL button in the post form, it will give you this BBCode [*url].
Simply place the company code after URL= and then place the name of your link between the URL BBCodes like follows:
Changing the color of your links:
To change the color of your link, you simply enter your link name within the [*color] BBCodes like follows:
Colors are codes as well! Highlighta, highlightb, c, d etc... Always use these color codes instead of the color name or number because we have several forum styles and colors need to change from style to style. Yellow and orange look good on a black background but would be very hard to read on a white background. These color codes make sure that all the colors always look good on all styles.
Advanced linking techniques:
Linking to other forum threads:
You may place links to any other forum threads within the Referral Forums by using the $$forums$$ code. Look at the link you want to point to and only keep the last part, replace everything else with the $$forums$$ code. For example: If you want to place a link to the company codes thread, here's the code you would need to use:
Notice your Downline Partners referral id in the link? This will make sure that all your visitors who are browsing the forum always join your team when they join the forums as that link would also show up in other member's posts.
Customizing the $$dp$$ Company Code:
The $$dp$$ company code can be customized to link to any public page of the website.
The $$dp$$ code is converted into:
http://gabrielm.downlinepartners.com
so if you want to link to a splash page, you would use this code:
If you want to link directly to the signup form of the splash page, you may use the following code:
If you want to link to the white & red lead generation page, you can use the following code:
If you want to link to any of the Referral Homepages, you can use the following code:
For a list of all the links you can build, refer to the marketing page of your members area.
I hope this helps.
