Well folks, it has been about two weeks since the Referral Forums launched and I must say that I like what I am seeing so far! Not everything went perfectly, of course but it sure went well enough

Since we launched the Referral Forums we experienced an immediate daily traffic boost of more than two times what we were getting during the pre-registration phase! However... signup rates actually went down! A possible reason for this is that we were allowing visitors to browse the forums and check the features without signing up and the forums are too new thus lacking in content/activity so we ended up with a lot of people bookmarking the site instead of joining. For this reason, we removed all links on the lead generation pages and this helped the signup rates considerably.

This new ad is similar to the old pre-registration one we were using and it should do well in traffic exchange programs.

The key with all these ads is to connect the right visitors with the right pages. For example: If you show the new splash page to complete newbies who know nothing of internet marketing or MLM then chances are that it won't make much sense to them. However, if you show it to people who understand the industry, your signup rates will be much higher. This new splash page was designed for traffic exchanges or ezines / websites that are about the industry.

Many more ads will be made in the future that will target different audiences. If you want to give it a shot and design some ads of your own, head to the Lead Generation Forums and show us what you got! Who knows, you ad might make it into a splash page!

One of the most important thing when it comes to getting good search engine rankings in Google is to have many websites with good Google PageRanks linking back to your website and have the name of those links be your keywords. For example: if you want to promote GDI, you'd have as many website as possible link to your GDI website with links like these: web hosting, website templates, affiliate program, business opportunity etc... It is better to hyperlink those keywords than the name of the company like GDI or Global domains International.

Article Marketing is a very good way to get good search engine coverage and If you can, you should definitely try to write some good articles for the Training, Personal Development & Business Education forums and then submit your articles to the article directories listed in your Search Engine Directory Referral Homepage. Those article directories generally have good Google PageRanks and they allow you to write a short bio about yourself at the bottom of your articles where you can add hyperlinks to your website so you could write something like this in your bio:
