Danny,
Thanks for your thorough review and replies as usual. I love everything
about downline partners. It is one of the most impressive free downline builders out there.
I am taking your advice and trying increase my time here in the forum. I
am also recommending my downline partners do the same. 20 minutes a
day can make a big difference to your downline. Let them know you are serious and care about them.
Also, the threads that are listed google. If we post in those threads is it our link that gets displayed?

Delegating program reviews is not really needed though. I already knew about most of the programs before they were submitted and I can review them pretty fast now a day. It's part of my job to stay up to date with what's happening in the industry so I don't mind constantly reviewing programs; I've been doing it for years. I'm always open to suggestions though. If you find a hidden GEM, feel free to contact me.
Very few programs live up to my expectations... Basically what I'm looking for are businesses like GDI, Kiosk and Hot Conference. They all promote one "real" product/service and they each have very good MLM compensation plans. I like them because they focus on their product and do not try to sell you all kind of other stuff once you buy from them; they focus on delivering what they promised. There's an epidemic of marketing systems and advertising sites out there these days and to me, marketing systems who are promoting marketing systems that promote other marketing systems doesn't make much sense; it creates some kind of loop that just adds confusion.
I don't want to waste leader's time by having them review a bunch of programs that don't get added. As I said, few will be added. There are much more important things I'd delegate to leaders instead. For example... We need many more posts in the forums. The changes to program submissions will probably help with that because of the 200 post per link rule. But we need some "cheerleaders" to help support, train and motivate the community, people who would bring some life in the forum every day. This is hard for me to do because of all the development work I have to do. I'd also welcome leaders who would like to contribute to some of the content on dp, like writing ads for dp or training & motivational articles.
Remember... Every single post in the forums is indexed by the Google search engine. The more content we have, the more visitors will come from Google. For example...
Here are some forum posts that made the Google front page for the following keywords:
Empowerism Forum

We also made it to #1 for "free downline builder" and #5 for free downline builder

I'd say the traffic that comes from that would be quite targeted and that "free" traffic goes to the coop, so you guys are the ones benefiting from this.
As more and more content gets into the forums, more and more traffic will come from Google and everyone will benefit from it.
There are forum categories for everyone, you can post jokes, training articles, post comments in the videos threads of the Referral TV Portal etc... Every bit helps.
BTW, some links are acceptable... you can post links to sites that have nothing to do with marketing... what is not allowed is to post business opportunity links or links to sites about them... links to news articles like this for example are perfectly acceptable.
When our ranking system is ready, we could probably allow members to vote on their favorite submitted programs, giving us an idea of what the community wants.
About your idea of allowing members to add their ids in the submitted program list... we may very well do that, I think it's a very good idea, thanks  |

Not the posts in the public forums... public posts are a collaborative effort for the benefit of the entire community. All the Google traffic that goes to the public posts goes to the traffic coop, unless your dp referral id is included in the links of course.
Where you claim sponsorship of Google traffic is in your Private Forums. Since only your downline members and visitors can see those posts, the visitors that come to your posts from Google will be treated as your referrals and thus will see your links.
If you reply in your sponsor's Private Forum, your sponsor would still be the sponsor of Google traffic because it's his forum. If you were assigned as the sponsor of that post, the visitor would not see the post because it's in your sponsor's forum, not yours. Now I hope this won't discourage anyone to post in their sponsor's forums. It's a good thing to help your sponsor out... he might return the favor you know

Well guys, we started work on the new program submission system and it's going to be amazing! We will make it so members can update their ids for the submitted programs as William suggested and when our ranking system is ready, the most popular programs will move to the top of the list.
We're going to have to make program submissions a PRO tool though. Free members will be able to enter their ids for the submitted programs but only PRO members who qualify for submission credits will be able to submit links.
Still... Program submissions by themselves will be worth more than the cost of upgrading so I think that it's a pretty fair deal considering everything else that comes with the upgrade, wouldn't you agree?
If you are already a PRO member, all this will come to you at no additional cost. Don't you love freebies like that?
I'll send an announcement as soon as it's ready...

| Simple fix! Place http:// in the cgi script and people update the username as the rest of the URL. They can promote their home page or main opp to their fist level downline. Therefor only promoteing their DP url. The name for the biz opp can read " Your Sponsor Recommends" . The description can read "Place your homepage or your main biz opp url here with out http:// ! |
