dp Training 1: Why Network Marketing is good

You just joined a group of like minded individuals who are all working together in the pursuit of a common goal which is to become financially independent. If you are new to this material, your eyes will open to a completely new world that’s always been there but you couldn’t see. During the past 6 years or so, I have been studying many millionaires in order to figure out what it is that they do that the poor and middle class are not doing. What I have found is that rich people do not work for a salary. Now when I say that to most people, the general reaction is something like: “Duh… of course they don’t work for a salary, they are rich; they don’t need a job.” But the reality is that they became rich BECAUSE they did not work for a salary. Rich people work for profits and this means that through the course of their lives they learn to sell and eventually become very good at it while the poor and middle class people work hard and go to school to learn how to do their jobs better in order to get higher salaries. What the rich and poor learn and do is completely different. You can go to school for many years, get a PHD and never learn anything about sales and marketing.

So when I realized that in order to become rich I had to work for profits and thus master the art of selling, I bought sales training books and audio material then got some jobs in telemarketing in order to apply what I was learning and experiment. Now in the field of telemarketing, even though I was selling, I was not really working for profits because the companies were paying me a salary and the commission structure was nothing more than small bonuses on that salary. I will always remember a cell phone company I went to work for... I was paid around $12 an hour plus $10 in commissions per sale. What I was to sell was some kind of family package worth $60 per month and I was subscribing clients to 3 year contracts. If we calculate what this sale is worth to the company ($60x36 months = $2,160.00) what we find is that one single sale was almost worth more than the entire salary I was being paid for a full month of work! In other words, I did not receive a legitimate piece of the pie. They were using me to generate residual income for them and they kept ALL the residual income for themselves. When I found a customer who paid $60 per month for 3 years, all I got out of it is $10 one time. This is how it works for pretty much all sales jobs. If you don’t sell, you don’t get paid. Your previous work is worthless to you for the current period.

Rich people work for RESIDUAL profits, meaning profits that comes in whether you work or not. Exactly like the money this cell phone company is making. Once a sale is made, they keep making $60.00 month after month for a minimum of 3 years and no extra work is required for that money, it just keeps coming in as the customers continue to enjoy the service. This is the best business model in the world but it is not available for normal folks like you and I; At least not in the “normal” environment of a job. The best residual income you can hope to get with a “job” as a sales person are yearly renewals such as with insurance companies. If you stay long enough, you get to call back your previous clients for renewals. Another way is to become supervisor of a team of sales people and earn a piece of the business that they generate but it can take some time before you get that kind of job and it comes with a lot of stress.

The good news is that I have found a way for normal people like you and I to earn the same kind of money that the big cell phone companies are making. The solution is in network marketing and especially online service based network marketing companies like GDI.

Let’s look at how the GDI compensation plan is structured for example:

This company offers great web hosting services and if you want to build your own website, you will need a web host like GDI to put your files on so that people can access them on the internet. The price for their web hosting services is only $10 per month. Now the great thing about this company is that they share some of the RESIDUAL profits that they make with their customers! If you help them and bring business to them, they will give you a percentage of the MONTHLY business you generate!

Now this is significant because unlike all the sales jobs that you can get, this company actually pays you RESIDUAL income; the exact kind of income that the rich work for and even better as they pay for multiple generations of sales. What I mean by that is if you refer a new customer to GDI and that customer then refers a few customers as well, you will not only make commissions on your own sale but also on the sales of your customers! This is what is called multi-level marketing, also known as MLM or network marketing.

In the case of GDI, you are paid on 5 generations of sales and all the customers that you refer to GDI have the exact same opportunity that you have. They can promote GDI and grow their own team within your organization. Once your customers made a few sales and earn enough MONTHLY commissions to cover their monthly membership fees, they can then enjoy the services for free and this means that they are going to remain customers for a very long time so you will keep earning your commissions for a very long time!

This is the Information Age economy folks. Companies can sell their services on the internet and reach a global audience. This is the best business model for the following reasons:

• 1. The cost of doing business is EXTREMELY cheap.
  
  
• 2. Products and services are delivered automatically through the internet so there is no inventory to keep and no shipping & handling expenses.
  
  
• 3. Few to zero employees.
  
  
• 4. Global market

In other words, it costs much less money to operate an Internet business and the income potential is way higher because you are not limited geographically and can reach the entire planet.

Also… when you affiliate yourself with companies like GDI, you don’t even need to create a product or handle payment and support issues because the companies will take care of everything for you. All you have to do is send customers to them and you will earn a percentage of the monthly business that you generate.

Now the great thing about the internet is that there are hundreds of businesses like GDI out there and what Downline Partners enables you to do is combine them within one central area so that you can promote many of them simultaneously. By building your organization within Downline Partners first, you build a strong central team that can then branch out into several other business opportunities and keep the same team structure in all of them! Great post Danny. You've hit the nail right on the head. But I would like to add something if I may. To my mind, the thing about network marketing that really stands out above all is that it doesn't depend on age, race, location, sex, intelligence, qualifications, background, etc. It is totally accessible and profitable to everyone alike. And the icing on the cake is that it can make the next FEW years of ANYONE'S life, even if they feel as if they're 'over the hill', more profitable than ALL of their previous 'productive' years put together.

It really depends on your needs. Do you need 5 rooms? If you have plans to use more than one then the 5 room deal would probably be perfect for you, other than that, the one room deal should be enough.

Usually what people do with their 5 rooms is setup one for each of their target market. They can setup one to provide live support and training to their team members, another one to showcase the software to gamers for clan meetings, another one for 3-way call training/support (Free international calls through the net ) etc... with only one room, it could be hard to have all these different uses going on... you wouldn't want people logging on for support while you are doing a 3-way call with someone right?

It really depends on what you plan to do with the software.
